If it feels right
Pieces Of Our Heart Who I am, where I live and what I do My name's Mathew, and I live in York, England. I'm 28 years old, an apprentice-trained fitter and currently work for a US company with a site in York that builds freight wagons for the railway. Motorcycles I've been into bikes for about as long as goth. Be warned, they're all MZ's from East Germany. Food and Drink An unhealthy mix of bread, cheese, chips, chinese curry and pie. I drink far too much Coke and black coffee with enough sugar to keep a toffee factory running for years. Alcohol-wise I go for strong dry cider, Blackthorn for preference, and a good quality vodka, Smirnoff or Blavod. Rocky Horror I've a fan for about the same again. I first saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show on tv when I was the tender age of 15, but didn't get hooked until being dragged to the cinema a few years after. Not long after that, the Rocky Horror Show (the stage show) was revamped and back on the road, and now regular trips are made to various venues to go upset the natives. In case you're wondering, I do get dressed up, I go as Eddie. Does anybody know if that was THE Pat Morrison as one of the Transylvanians in the film? Books I read quite a lot of stuff, but most of my books are by J.R.R. Tolkien and Terry Pratchett. I've a few Dune books to my name, and the first four in the Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy trilogy(?) TV and film I'm not much of a telly person really. I've only got a 14" portable black and white, but that doesn't matter as I'd rather watch older stuff like the Addams Family, the Munsters and Hammer Horror, so who needs colour? Spaghetti westerns rank high on things to watch, as do Far Eastern things like Monkey, the Water Margin, manga, and their own brand of horror. Favourite films include Star Wars, The Blues Brothers, MiB, Kelly's Heroes, The Hitcher and Monty Python And The Holy Grail. Sport and such NO CHANCE. The only sport I was ever good at at school was the javelin, and I was damn good at it if I do say so myself. Nowadays, the only exercise I get is running around the Dark Future LaserQuest in Huddersfield. This may seem a long way to go (a mere 50 miles give or take a bit), but it's run by biker friends of mine, so you can guarantee a good time because it's the nutters and wierdo's running the place. It also means the jukebox is well worth putting money into.
