As it was bought, with Dulux paintwork

I still own the TS 250 I bought in 1992 (for a mere £35 which included a box of spares), a tribute to its ruggedness and ability to fit parts from even the modern day Kanuni's into a bike that hasn't been made since 1975! Plenty of the newer parts can be fitted to older models than that as well. If that isn't an advert for the so-called modular design (used on Beemers and modern Triumphs) then I don't know what is. Fitting newer parts isn't just a nessecity of age. Things like the disc brake, alloy forks, 12v (ETZ) engines and better swinging arms allow TS 250 owners to turn there bike into a more modern machine without loosing the 'quirky' lines of the original styling.

Version 3, as it was used for a good few years

As you can see from the pics there have been a few changes to my TS over the years. Many of the parts from other models used include:

It is currently subject to a never-happen rebuild bringing it back to a more original condition and style, which should include fitting a Honda TLS front brake in a 16" rim and a bored-out engine. A set of Supa 5 forks will be used for better road holding, the 16" rim on a drum brake hub and the original head will keep some of the looks of the original design. I won't be fitting indicators as there were none on it when it was new.
